SUMMARY:Rock to Rock Ocean Swim
DESCRIPTION:Held over the Easter Long Weekend\, the Pacific Palms Real Estate and Holidays Rock to Rock 1.5km Ocean Swim attracts over 250 competitors. Since its inception this event has continued to grow and has been a holiday favorite for visitors. In 2015 the Mini Rock event was introduced- a shorter 600m swim. This proved hugely successful and remains a curtain raiser to the Rock to Rock. Many swimmers entered both the Rock To Rock and The Mini Rock! So come and join us on Sunday 20 April 2025!\n\nCompetitors start at the age of 10 and go right through to their 70’s.\n\nEntry Fee: Entry is open to all competent swimmers from age 10 upwards and is $30 for the 600m swim\, $45 for the 1.5km swim or $70 for both swims – this includes race entry and a swim cap. DESCRIPTION:Learn surf\, first aid and beach skills whilst making friends and having fun. Children 5 yrs to 14 yrs (turning 5 before 30 September 2024) who are registered can attend. \nThe location is Elizabeth Beach\, NSW. \n\nNippers runs on Sundays between October and April (we do not operate during school holidays)\nMeeting time for Sunday activities is 8:45 am for a 9:00 am start time. Activities conclude at approximately 11:00 am.\nBeach and water activities are held each Sunday and if the weather is bad we will adjust the activities to be indoor in the Clubhouse. Water activities are also dependent on the conditions on the day.\nParents/ Guardians are more than welcome to join in the beach activities and have some fun with their children. As we are all volunteers\, the more hands involved the better.\nWe also run a BBQ and parental/ guardian assistance is always required.\nCaps and pink rashies must be worn by children at all times during Nippers as it is a safety issue.\nChildren must wear a minimum of 50+ sunscreen\, a pink rashie\, a hat and have a water bottle ready.\nOne Nipper Parent/ Guardian must also be a member
